  1. Andrew: Excellent videos, great format, which came first, you or the Kahn
Academy? He teaches the same great way. Keep up the great work, wish I was
back in Med School again, would understand the kidney better john bennett
    md

  2. Hi John, I shamelessly emulated Sal Khan’s technique – he was first. I can
only take credit for recognizing his brilliance! Thanks for the complement!

  3. Great video. Also kind of explains the interaction with NSAIDs and ACE-I.
Ive seen pts come in for acute kidney injury on ACE-I and wonder why they
have AKI and then you ask them if they pop ibuprofen and they say yes and I
    go no duh! lol

  4. Andrew – You are the BOMB – you (and Sal with Khan Academy) have almost
single handedly saved my bacon in Graduate Patho. You do an an incredible
    job.

  5. thank you for your lecture; it is very helpful. The reason I was looking
for your video was to look for answer on what medications can prevent or
    delay nephropathy in hypertensive patient.

  6. Thank you so much for your excellent presentations. To have your input on
my Masters Pathophysiology revision is an absolutely fabulous resource.

  7. Good Job!, this video helps me to clearly understand the pathogenesis of
Hypertensive Nephropathy. I am more confident now in my upcoming report.
Continue sharing your easy-to-understand lecture. Keep it up!

  8. sir if you can include treatment along with the pathophysiology in a
stepwise manner, that will really make it full proof.:)
